Being active is a key element to losing weight and keeping the weight off – but “you can’t burn off a bad diet”! In the session Jane explores various dietary approaches used for weight loss and challenges some of the long-held beliefs around low fat diets. She describes how she has changed the dietary advice she gives to her patients with diabetes who need to lose weight and improve their glycaemic control.
