Health Improvement Principal

Diane is a Health Care Professional who has extensive experience working in Public Health, Nursing, leadership and management, with a special interest in the prevention, early identification and effective management of long term conditions. She has acquired numerous skills but in particular in the last few years of Senior Management experience as Head of Public Health for Long-term Conditions within the Local Authority where she has specialised in business change and service improvement. She leads the strategic development for Specialist Public Health in relation to Long Term Conditions with an overall aim of reducing health inequalities and ensuring effectiveness of access to services. She leads the implementation and continues to govern the achievement of the NHS Health Check programme, the implementation of the NDPP in Leeds, the House of Care across Leeds to enable people to have the skills, knowledge and confidence to manage their own condition. In addition to providing specialist Public Health Advice to the CCG partnership across Leeds.
