Dr Beaini spent 5 1/2 years as a hospital cardiology registrar and then moved across to GP training. He is CVD lead for his three local CCGs and advisor to the Yorks and Humber clinical network. He is CVD lead for the Bradford’s Healthy Hearts program which aims to reduce CVD across the CCG and this resulted in 17,000 patient interventions over 15 months.
