Morven has enjoyed working within cardiology nursing for the last 20 years; over that time she has had the privilege of working in a plethora of cardiac care settings including: CCU, cardiac ICU, cardiac rehab and CVD nurse in Primary Care.
Morven also enjoyed working as a Cardiology Nurse Specialist, setting up nurse led clinics. This work piqued a particular interest in developing rapid accessclinics, one of which was for those with AF. Her passion for AF was ignited and resulted in a BHF funded post -Practice Development Nurse Practitioner in AF. This role focused on audit and education across primary and secondary care in NHS Lanarkshire.
Her current role is as a CVD Clinical Development Coordinator with the British Heart Foundation. This role involves CVD education and teaching, focusing on primary care settings.
