In this short presentation, Dr Kavi will discuss common causes of syncope in children, briefly covering reflex anoxic seizures, vasovagal syncope, postural tachycardia syndrome and syncope in young athletes. The causes and implications of syncope during pregnancy will be described. The final part of the talk will consider the relationship between syncope and falls in older people.
