IDF World Diabetes Congress 2022
The next IDF World Diabetes Congress will be held in Lisbon, Portugal, on 5-8 December 2022. It will provide a unique forum for knowledge exchange, bringing together the extensive global network of health professionals, advocates and people living with diabetes.
The Congress will be held at the Centro de Congressos de Lisboa CCL located on the river Tagus close to the historical area of Belem.
The scientific programme for the IDF Congress 2022 will feature eight parallel streams that focus on:
- The basic science and biology of diabetes
- The development and application of new therapies and technologies
- The latest information from clinical trials
- Prevention of type 2 diabetes
- Advocacy issues critical to tackling the diabetes pandemic
